BRISTOL — Mayor Jeff Caggiano visited several local schools Friday to read to children in honor of Read Across America Day.
Read Across America Day is held annually in recognition of the birth of famous children’s author Dr. Seuss on March 2. In addition to the mayor, schools received several other visitors on Friday, including local police officers.
