9 displaced after overnight house fire in Bristol

Nine people were displaced and one person was taken to a hospital with injuries.

BRISTOL, Conn. — Nine people were displaced after an overnight fire in a Bristol residence on Saturday.

Firefighters were called to a home on School Street around 1:30 a.m. for a report of a fire.

The fire was knocked down within 10 minutes, firefighters said.

Nine people were displaced and one person was taken to a hospital with injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
