Chelsea Cyr, owner of Bella Mia Salon, styles the hair of Emilie LaBouliere.

BRISTOL — Bella Mia Salon, located at 780 King St., is Bristol’s latest full service beauty salon.

Owned by Chelsea Cyr, the salon opened Feb. 15. After working for more than 10 years as a stylist and renting chairs at other businesses, Cyr said she felt it was time to “take the next step” and start a business of her own. She and her father spent the past four to five months renovating the space, which was formerly a juice bar and the adjacent Family Eye Care’s previous location. The space was also formerly the home of her father-in-law. She currently employs six people and hopes to expand if things continue to go well.
