Lucille H. (Ricard) LeFebvre, 88, of Bristol, widow of Raymond F. LeFebvre, entered into the arms of Jesus on Thursday (February 29, 2024) at John Dempsey Hospital surrounded by her family.
Lucille was born in Bristol on January 18, 1936 and was the only daughter of the late Doria and Alphonsine (Taillon) Ricard.
She was a lifelong Bristol resident and graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Newport, VT.
Known to be a a caring, compassionate, and dedicated nurse who loved her job, she was a Licensed Practical Nurse working at Bristol Hospital for 30 years in labor and delivery helping to bring many babies into the world. After her retirement from the hospital, she worked for local physicians for 20 years.
Lucille was an amazing knitter, loved to play the organ, bingo, and gardening. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish devoted to St. Ann Church, Bristol, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Lucille is survived by three daughters: Michelle Mosher and her husband, Scott of Gardiner, NY, Rita Torres and her husband, Valentin of Plymouth, MA, and Denise Beaulieu and her husband, Forrest of Canton; 10 grandchildren: Laura, Aimee, Michael Mosher, Daniel and James Torres, Brittany Stubbs, Taylor and Zachary LeFebvre, Alexi and Garrett Beaulieu; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son: Raymond F. LeFebvre II; and her brother: Philip Ricard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (March 5, 2024) at 11 AM at St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol. Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Mausoleum, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Tuesday between 9 and 10:30 AM.
