Angela (Costantiello) Cirielli, 87, of Bristol, beloved wife of Domenico Cirielli, died on Thursday (March 28, 2024) at Bristol Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Angela was born on February 10, 1937, in Sammichele di Bari, Italy and was a daughter of the late Vito Lorenzo and Dorotea (Spinelli) Costantiello. She was raised and went to school in Italy before immigrating and settling in Bristol in 1965. Angela worked at General Electric, Plainville.
She enjoyed praying the rosary and was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish devoted to St. Anthony Church. She loved baking, making her special dishes for family gatherings and a game of bowling now and then.
In addition to her devoted husband of 61 years, Angela is survived by three children: Donato Cirielli and his wife, Anna of Simsbury, Lorenzo Cirielli of Broad Brook, and Vincenza Maria Cirielli of Clinton; three brothers: Michele Costantiello of Columbus, OH, Giovanni Costantiello of South Carolina, and Antonio Costantiello of Bristol; four grandchildren: Domenico Cirielli, Francesca Cirielli, Antonio Egidio, Angelina Egidio; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four siblings: Angelo Costantiello, GianDomenico Costantiello, Laura Deiure, and Domenica Spinelli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 3, 2024) at 10 AM at St. Anthony Church, 111 School St., Bristol. Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Mausoleum, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Tuesday between 5 and 7 PM.
