The City of Bristol Diversity Counciland the community-based Bristol Interfaith Coalition are co-sponsoring a free educational event on February 5th at the Bristol Public Library to celebrate this United Nations-endorsed effort to promote harmony between peoples of different faiths. The February 5th event will offer a panel discussion, organized by the Connecticut Council for Interreligous Understanding, To Love Your Neighbor, Know Your Neighbor,with speakers representing three religions, Hinduism, Sikhism and Islam. The facilitated presentation and discussion will allow audience members to learn more about each religion and its practice. CCIU has recently celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary of providing interfaith education through the state. There is no charge for this event which will start at 6 p.m. with coffee and refreshments. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. In case of snow, an alternate date will be arranged. |

Do you want to meet and collaborate with female entrepreneurs? WEW is a Bristol networking community that’s goal is to support, educate and empower like minded women entrepreneurs.
Meetings are the 1st Wednesday of the month 6:00-8:00pm.
Cost is $10 for materials and light refreshments. RSVP necessary to be buzzed into Patterson Place Apartments-72 Maple St. Bristol. Parking for the event is off street.
